Zapd for iPhone gets updated to version 2.0, new themes, new looks, same great webpages in 60 seconds

Zapd has been an app favorite for us here at TechHog, we covered it when it first launched and then again when they updated to version 1.4. Now the team has updated Zapd to version 2.0 and have given a brand new UI and dozens of new themes to the easiest website creation app on the market. There are now gorgeous themes that offer large photos for headers and new themes will be added monthly. The team at Zapd has decide to make “Zapds” more social, so now when you create a Zapd webpage, you can share it and even collaborate with your friends, you can add pictures and so can they. Your Zapd webpages are like Instagram, in that your pages can be followed by other Zapd users, unless you set it private. When you create a new Zapd page, your friends and followers will also be automatically notified so they can check it out.

The Zapd team has added so much new content and yet, managed to allow users to still create sites in about 60 seconds, one of the apps main selling points. If you haven’t used or heard of Zapd, an easy way to think of it is that it’s sort of like Tumblr, but instead of creating your website on the web, Zapd lets you not only add images, text, quotes and more, via the iPhone, it also allows you to pick your theme and build a webpage on the iPhone too. Like I said, I’ve been using Zapd for well over a year half, it’s an awesome app to share your travel pictures, memories, daily photos or anything else that you want to share with friends, family and the world.

Best of all, it’s a free app, so there’s no reason not to check it out, it’s slick and easy to use and it’s updated to work on the iPhone 5. Take a minute and check it out, we think you’ll love it as much as we do.

(FYI, this is not a paid post, we really do love the Zapd app.)
