Ever since Google really started putting their weight behind the Nexus brand, Android fans have been screaming for Google to brand their devices as a “Nexus” instead of putting “Google” on the back of their Nexus products, like the Nexus One, Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus. When Google released their own tablet, the Nexus 7, it was the first time we saw a product with the Nexus name adorned on the back, in large print too. But what about their phones, we’ve been seeing leaks of the new Nexus, the device some are calling the Nexus 4, for some time. But until today, the device we’ve seen has only had a code number on the back with LG’s logo on the bottom.

As you can see from the image above, leaked by the now infamous—and still anonymous—twitter account, @evleaks, we have a press photo of the new Nexus and as requested by the millions and millions of the Nexus’s fans, the back isn’t just showing the Nexus name, it’s plastered on there nice and large, like the Nexus 7.

With Google’s event now just days away, it seems like the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini, the new Nexus is completely out of the bag. Hopefully Google will surprise us and give the new phone more storage than just the rumored 8GB and 16GB options, although, if El Goog can offer the device, off contract, for under $400, perhaps $350 and tack on some free Google Drive storage space, it may be okay.

What do you all think? Do you like the new Galaxy Nexus, er, Nexus 4 with the large Nexus font on the back?
