breast cancer ribbon 580x386 Why TechHog has been quiet this weekSome of you may have seen the news on Twitter this week, but for those of you who haven’t, my 66 year old mother passed away after her second battle with breast cancer. Her health went down hill last Saturday night and at 5:34 am on Monday morning she took her last breath. While this probably doesn’t mean much to many of you, my mother and I were very close. I’m sure there are a few of you out there who have lost someone to breast cancer, or know someone who is battling it right now. There’s no other way to say it other than cancer sucks.

In any case, I hope to be back posting regular updates, reviews and editorials this coming week as I begin to piece together my shattered life. This was quite possibly the worst week of my life and it all happened so suddenly. My apologies for not informing you all sooner, at least as to why we’ve been quiet.

I hope you all understand and will continue to visit the site as we move forward.
