With the official announcement of BlackBerry 10 in two days, it seems like even RIM has become vulnerable to products leaks, just like Apple and Samsung. While we’ve seen the BlackBerry Z10 or “London” in black before, we now have a white model that is floating around. RIM’s no stranger to white devices, having released a white model of a few of their devices, like the Torch, but it looks like the Canadian smartphone maker is looking to make quite a statement when it shows off its new hardware, as in, we have a device for you. They’ll have both a touchscreen only device the (Z10) and a touchscreen/QWERTY device, but the addition of another color choice, RIM’s really pulling out all the stops for their second coming.
The BlackBerry Z10 is rumored to sport a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, an 1800mAh battery, an 8-megapixel camera (with awesome software) and a 4.2-inch 720p display. If rumors are true, that the price point could start at $150 (on contract), RIM may have a success, if it can pull people away from their current devices and ecosystems. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t intrigued, something I didn’t think I’d ever say about another RIM product.
