Verizon has been expanding their LTE market like crazy over the past year or so. It feels like Verizon is starting to leave the 3 other major carriers in the dust, in-term’s of LTE coverage. Verizon is planning on spreading their 4G LTE network to 34 new markets by August 16th and plans to expand 38 existing markets.

Verizon’s LTE will now cover over 370 markets (371 to be exact) which, according to Verizon, is over 75% of the United States. Verizon also states that it is “ahead of schedule” and plans on expanding their LTE coverage to over 400 markets by the end of 2012.
