Last night we received some reports that Galaxy Nexus owners on Verizon were finally getting their long over due update to Android 4.0.4. The change log (below) was issued by Verizon earlier this week, so we knew the update was coming soon, but it appears to be a very slow rollout.
Since the process has begun, if you are a GNex owner on Verizon, you can manually search for the update by navigating your way to the systems settings > about phone > system updates. If it’s available, it will show up and you can begin the updating process, if it’s not there, just be patient and check back maybe every hour or two.
