This morning Google announced VIA twitter that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be hitting shelves today in the UK for Phones4U. Planned release for O2, Three, or Vodafone is in the near future.
According to Phone Arena, Phones4U’s website has the phone listed for £59 or about $93 with a 2 year agreement. That’s pretty ridiculous since in the US, Costco is rumored to sell it for $289.99 and Verizon $299.99 on a 2 year agreement.
But get ready. Since the UK just received the Galaxy nexus, that could mean the wait may soon be over for the US.
