We all knew it was coming, but after months of rumors and leaked images, T-Mobile has finally announced that the Samsung Galaxy Note, the tablet phone hybrid will finally arrive on their network come August 8th with a retail price of $249.99 (with a new two year agreement) after a $50 mail-in rebate, so technically $300 out of pocket at the time of purchase.
The Galaxy Note for T-Mobile will be practically the same device as the Note for AT&T with the exception of no LTE support, but it will use T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 4G network. Sadly, the Note will ship with Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich instead of the newly released 4.1 Jelly Bean. No pre-order information has been released, but when it does we’ll let you know.
