T-Mobile officially announces the release date of the HTC One S

T-Mobile and HTC have just announced the release date for the highly-anticipated HTC One S, the new Android powered device will be available nationwide on Apr. 25 for $199 (after a $50 mail-in rebate card, with a two-year service agreement and qualifying plan).  As the premier launch partner, T-Mobile customers will be the first in the U.S. to experience the ultra-sleek HTC One S, which is T-Mobile’s thinnest smartphone and the first HTC device with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and HTC Sense 4.

The HTC One S is one of T-Mobile’s fastest 4G devices and the latest to take advantage of T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 42 network. It offers a variety of features including an 8-megapixel back-side illuminated camera with Instant Capture, built-in Beats Audio and access to 25GB of free cloud storage from DropBox. The HTC One S also comes with a diverse selection of apps and services that give customers amazing 4G experiences including access to Amazon Mobile, Where’s My Water? from Disney Mobile, and T-Mobile TV.
