Update: Speaking with Chris Chavez via Twitter, he told me the source of this image is saying Sprint is instructing employees not to mention LTE. I think we can all assume, the Galaxy Nexus will be launching “without” LTE. Guess we’ll have to wait a tab bit longer.

Chris Chavez over at Phandroid posted the image above (and below) that reader, who obviously works at a Sprint retail store, sent him showing off new marketing posters for the upcoming Galaxy Nexus on Sprint. The poster came in a tube, with a bright neon green label clearly saying this is POP/Marketing materials for launch windows and should not go up until April 15th.
This doesn’t necessarily mean the Galaxy Nexus will launch on April 15th, it just means the poster can’t be displayed until April 15th. Meaning the poster could technically go up and the GNex could go on sale the following weekend, the 22nd, which has also been strongly rumored.
Finally, Sprint users will be able to get a taste of not only Vanilla Android 4.0, but also Sprint’s new LTE network, assuming you live in a few of the key launch areas Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and San Antonio., luckily, I do.
So what do you all think? Will the Galaxy Nexus launch on the 15th or is this just a marketing poster for a later date?
Thanks Chris from Phandroid.com
