Sprint has offficially cancelled their plans to carry the BlackBerry Playbook 4G

“Another one down and another one down, another one bites the dust…” I just found the theme song for RIM’s BlackBerry Playbook! Well Sprint fans, I hope you weren’t to dead set on picking up a BlackBerry Playbook. Sprint has come out and basically slammed the Playbook by saying, “…[the Playbook] just hasn’t caught on with business customers” and “There are so many tablets in the market, it creates confusion for the average customer.” Due to this, Sprint has officially cancelled any and all plans to sell the device.

With no major carrier looking to pick up the Playbook 4G, it looks like RIM has yet another failure on its hands. I would like to see how “Mikey Lazspins explains this to the board of directors and stockholders when his 6 month reprieve is up.

Hopefully we’ll be singing “Na na na na, hey hey hey, Goodbye!”
