Sprint has just announced, via Twitter, that CEO Dan Hesse has just announced the first few markets for their upcoming LTE network. The lucky cities are as follows, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, which will be live by mid-2012.
I think this is great, we now get a look at Sprint’s gameplan. My only complaint is why does Texas get three active spots. Why not spread it out and give some to LA, New York, Washington/Baltimore or even San Francisco…some of the bigger areas in the country.
Either way, as a Sprint customer, I’m glad to see the ball is rolling.
