For those of us in the U.S., the only Sony Android tablet we’ve been able to enjoy thus far has been the Tablet S, but it has been announced that AT&T will be getting Sony’s “unique” clamshell tablet design, the Tablet P.

The Tablet P, is an Android 3.2 tablet that features two 5.5-inch display (1024 x 480), one on each side. There will be 1GB of RAM, a 1 GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 4GB of internal storage (a 2GB microSD included). Sony has promised that the Tablet P will be upgraded to Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich in the Spring.

AT&T will be charging $399 for the Tablet P on a new 2-year contract, but if you’re not the contract type, AT&T will also be selling the Tablet P off contract for $549.99. Sony’s Tablet P will be able on Sunday, March 4th at over 1,000 AT&T corporate stores.

had some hands on at CES. odd design but I know some will love it. square design of the screens works well when merged together or separately.
