We all know traveling during the holiday season can be a nightmare, but if you are stuck in the airport and have a mobile device like a Galaxy Tab, iPad or even your smartphone, you can take advantage of FREE WiFI courtesy of Skype. The VoIP company (or more likey Microsoft at this point) is offering up free WiFi to certain airports. You can head to Skype’s website (below) and check out the map above, to see if your area or the area you are travel to or have a layover in is covered. This isn’t the first time this type of “advertising” has been done, a few years ago, Google paid for free WiFi in airport and just last year, Boingo did the same.

In any event, it’s one more thing that can help get you through the arduous task of air travel during the holidays.
