We’ve got a double header for you in this post, above, is the first front photo of the HTC Vigor. While we’ve seen the back before, this is the first time we’ve managed to get a look at the front of the device, which looks a lot like the other current HTC devices, like the Sensation, EVO 3D, and Thunderbolt. The back is a little more “edgy” than say the Sensation.
The Vigor, which will debut on Verizon’s LTE network with it’s stunning 1280 x 720 display (aka 720p HD), a 1.5GHz dual-core processor all running on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, it will also incorporate HTC’s newest partnership with Beats Audio.
If you’ve clicked the link above to the view the back of the device you’ll no doubt recognize the similarities between the Vigor and the DROID Incredible 1/2. Which led us here at Tech Hog believe that the Vigor could very well be the oft-rumored Incredible HD.
Well thanks to the guys over at Droid-Life who posted this little tidbit below, we may be right, if this image is 100% real.
As you can clearly see, if this is from a Verizon system, the DROID Incredible HD by HTC is coming… and soon, on October 13th. While we’ve known some of the specs before, this listing shows us a little more than we prevously knew. Like the 1080p Video recording, pre-installed 32GB of class 10 microSD and an additional 16GB of internal storage (wow!), and it can share its internet connection with up to 10 other devices!
So we are only a few weeks from seeing the world FIRST HD smartphone. Keep in mind, if this is true, Verizon could have at least 3 HD devices by the years end, in the HTC Incredible HD, the Samsung Nexus/DROID Prime and possibly the Galaxy S II LTE (if they give it the HD and not Plus display).
Who’s excited now?
