We reported back on July 6th, that Samsung was looking to announce its Galaxy Note successor, the Galaxy Note II (2), at IFA in August. It looks like Samsung is going to do things a little bigger for their Note II unveiling, apparently at their August 15th press event, Samsung will show the Galaxy Note II to the world themselves, before IFA.
If you’ve missed out on the previous rumors, the new device is said to carry a taller, 5.5-inch display (according to BGR), Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a massive 12-megapixel camera, and LTE, which might be integrated on Samsung’s own Exynos 4 quad-core chip processor. Perhaps the most far out claim is the use of an “unbreakable” glass display, which we’ll have to see to believe. We’re about a month away, so we’ll have to wait and see if this all pans out as there are other rumors suggesting that we may see the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet as well, which is still a possibility.
