Despite their bad week last week with the verdict in the Apple patent trial, Samsung is coming out strong at IFA in Berlin. We’ve already seen the Galaxy Note II (more on that later) and now Sammy has unveiled their latest tablet, the 10.1-inch ATIV (their new branding for everything Windows) Windows RT tablet. The 10.1-inch ATIV will feature a 1,366×768 10 inch display,  a 1.5GHz dual core processor, a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear camera. Samsung even included a few ports, like a microHDMI and USB, all on the ATIV’s thin 8.9mm frame. The new Windows RT tablet will come in two flavors, 32GB and 64GB. Powering this beast is a massive 8,200mAh battery. While it may not have the stylings of the Surface, if the price is right, this could steal some thunder from Microsoft.

We don’t have a price to pass along, but as far as a release date is concerned, Samsung says don’t expect ATIV 10.1 Windows RT tablet before October 26th, which is Windows 8 and Windows RT’s official release date.
