A new report from CNET says that, as of right now, Samsung currently has no plans to bring its 10-inch Galaxy Note tablet to the U.S.
Shown off at Mobile World Congress (MWC) back in March, the Galaxy Note 10.1 is basically a Galaxy Tab 10.1, that utilizes the Wacom stylus “S-Pen” technology that is currently found on the Galaxy Note smartphone. Samsung has been especially quiet since the announcement of the 10.1-inch Note. But in San Francisco today, Samsung met with some press, but didn’t give any new details on the device’s release, especially in the U.S. However, they did say that the device may receive an update in terms of hardware (inside). With MWC, the South Korean smartphone company confessed they needed something impressive to show off and that the 10.1-inch Note fit the bill.
So for those of you waiting to get your hands on a larger Galaxy Note, you may be waiting for quite a while…but hey, there’s always the Note smartphone, right?
