Got your salt shaker ready, good, cause you’re going to need it for this one. Boy Genius, aka Jonathan Geller, from BGR.com is report that he got a tip from “another” reliable source that Samsung is prepping a tablet that will beat Apple’s next iPad to the market. This new tablet is rumored to be 11.6-inches, but won’t be noticiable larger due to a thinner bezel than the one found on the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Mr. Gellar also says that the device will be powered by a dual-core 2GHz Exynos processor, and will come running Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich with Google Beam technology for easy syncing to the Galaxy Nexus. He also said that Samsung is developing a special wireless docking station that will allow the tablet to compete with Apple’s upcoming TV, AirPlay and more.
Before you get all excited, I would like to point out, this is the same site that said they had a source that “confirmed” to them that Sprint was getting an exclusive on the iPhone 5 with 4G. Not to mention about a half a dozen other stories from “trusted” sources that never panned out. So take that salt shaker and sprinkle it good and take it with this rumor.
