Rumor: Possible photo of the new iPhone’s back panel surfaces

The often reliable 9to5Machas reported on a story by another often reliable site, iFixYouri. The iPhone, iPad and iPod repair site, which correctly outed parts which revealed the white iPad, has posted a picture (above) of what they claim is the back panel to the new iPhone 5/6. The new panel which looks like a modified version of the iPhone 4/4S, seems to have a gun metal material in the middle of two smooth black pieces, which could also be a polished metal.

iFixYouri, claims the back piece is made of one piece of metal and it even looks much thinner than the current model. Another interesting detail to take note of, is the smaller dock connector on the bottom, which has been rumored for a while. This new dock leaves more room for improved speakers, which also seem to have a much larger open “grate” at the bottom. iFixYouri says that while it isn’t concrete, Apple may even offer more than two colors this time around, while they make no mention of what those two new colors are, we fully expect white and black to remain.

9to5Mac says that iFixYouri is now selling these parts and they have one already on order. So what do you all think of the purported back of the next iPhone? Do you like the single piece of metal with a dual metal look (brushed and polished)? Let us know below.
