Story Re-posted from out Sister-site, WP Life.
We’ve heard the rumors that Nokia was going to bring the Lumia 900 to other carriers in the States, but we weren’t exactly sure which ones. Verizon has been hurting for a Windows Phone and Sprint’s offerings have been barren, but it looks like T-Mobile and their aggressive new attitude may have scored the next version.
AT&T’s exclusive lock on the Lumia 900 ends after 45 days, which means Nokia is free to take their device anywhere they please, so why not T-Mobile? The Lumia 710 has done surprisingly well there, so it only makes sense.
This whole rumors stems from an in-store T-Mobile rep, who said they’d [T-Mobile] be receiving the Lumia 900 this “Summer.” We all know how these store reps like to toot their own horn of “internal knowledge,” but in this case it does sound quite plausible. With Nokia struggling to catch a break, they will need more than just AT&T if they want to survive, at least in the States.
