Rumor: Another Samsung Galaxy S III leak, sketch shows design and specs list

As the official unveiling of the Galaxy S III edges closer, it appears more and more leaks are trickling out. This time we have what is supposedly a service manual from the website, SamMobile. If real, the service sheet (below) shows off a sketch or outline of the new design, that has a very similar look to the Nexus S, with rounded corners but with the addition of a home button and two capacitive buttons.

As for the specs, this sheet contradicts other rumors by suggesting that the Galaxy S III will have a 4.8-inch display, until now, the largest we’ve seen reported has been a 4.7-inch. On top of that, it also says that it’ll have a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. This contradicts three rumors, the first was that the GS III was to use a 1.4GHz processor that may be a dual-core Exynos, the second was that it will be a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon (at least for the US market) and the last, was that while Samsung could be dropping a quad-core (most likely a Exynos) in the Galaxy S III, it would only be clocked at 1.4GHz. While a 0.1GHz may not be much in terms of power, it’s the fact that just about everywhere you turn, there is a different report on what this device will be packing.

In any case, Samsung is doing a great job at keeping the media guessing on what they’ll show at their Unpacked event in London, thankfully, it’s only about a week away. Sadly, that’s plenty of time for more fake reports. In this case, we’re saying fake…but we’d love to be proven wrong.
