Regardless of poor sales this year, Acer is going to continue to make tablets well into 2012. This all comes about as rumors began to surface that because of the slow sales, Acer would slow down production of the tablets.
But Acer Founder, Stan Shih, said quite the opposite, that they [Acer] are not giving up, yet. According to DigiTimes, Acer has admitted to the slow sales, but that they see to much potential in the tablet market to give up just yet. Shih made special not that Acer was also very slow in the PC notebook market before they became one of the top vendors in the world.
