Behold, the the first images of an American Galaxy S III from Samsung. According to the Verge, who posted these images, this T-Mobile branded Galaxy S III is the real deal and will in fact retain the physical home button like its European cousin.

In the past, Samsung while designing their Galaxy S devices, have used a physical home button, but when they bring their devices to the States, they’ve been removed and are replaced with 4 capacitive buttons. For a while it was believed that Samsung did this to avoid a legal dispute with Apple, who’s physical home button is a key symbol. However, it looks like Samsung is stepping up and keeping the home button, either to the chagrin of Apple or U.S. carriers.

Anyway, the device itself, looks nearly identical to the European model, save for the T-Mobile branding on the back. So what do you all think? Are you going to be waiting in line for a GS III?
