Hard to believe it’s just shy of a month since Nokia announced the Lumia 920 and 820, what’s even harder to belive is that during their event, Nokia didn’t mention a price or a release date for their new phones. Thankfully, AT&T has stepped up and issued a statement that they will carry both the Lumia 920 and 820 smartphones, which they say will hit stores in November and that the Lumia 920, like the Lumia 900, will be exclusive to AT&T. The exclusivity was confirmed by Jeff Bradley, AT&T’s SVP of Devices and Developer Services.
AT&T also confirmed that both of the new Windows Phone 8 devices will run on their 4G network, we assume that they mean LTE and not just HSPA+. Beyond that, and details we’ve already known, AT&T didn’t give us anything new, no price and no specific date, other than “November.”
November should be a good month for Windows Phone 8 devices, with the HTC Windows Phone 8X and most likely Samsung’s ATIV S both launching, there should be plenty for Windows Phone fans to oogle at, the question is, which one do you buy and why?
