Nokia Lumia 900 Quick First Impressions

So, I’ve had my Nokia Lumia 900 for a few hours now and feel safe letting everyone know my first impressions. When I picked up the device for the first time, it honestly felt like no other phone I’ve held before. The beveled edges and matte finish, of the poly-carbonate back, makes the device very fitting for my hands. The device does have some weight to it, which is a good thing. Doesn’t feel so light that Ill drop it, but isn’t so heavy that it will weight by shorts down.

Some positive things I’ve found so far:

  • Great design
  • Lightning fast UI and very fast transitions
  • Wonderful display
  • Loud notification sound
  • Great call quality

Some problems I’ve came across so far:

  • Awkward placement of the power button
  • Camera lacks ‘above the rest’ quality
  • Volume rocker, Power button and Camera button are all too recessed for my liking.

Granted, I haven’t used the device extensively. These are just some things I’ve came across so far. There will be a more detailed impressions to come, so stay tuned.
