If you’re like us, you’ve probably been dying to see what Google and Samsung’s 10-inch tablet, the Nexus 10, will look like, well, wait no further. The guys over at BriefMobile have posted the first pictures of the new tablet, seen above (and larger in the gallery below), and we can say that there is definitely a hint of the Nexus 7 in the design.
While the back is mostly a plastic, which has been made to look like metal, there is a little bit of that “racing glove” fake leather across the top, much like the whole back of the Nexus 7. Aside from the exterior of the device, the source of these leaks says the resolution has been confirmed to be 2560 x 1600 and that it will be running on Samsung’s dual-core SoC Exynos 5 processor. There’s also 2GB of RAM and support for NFC, which will obviously support Google’s Wallet (which is due to be upgraded).

While it’s kind of hard to judge the tablet from these terrible photos, I’m not so sure I’m impressed with the dual textured back. The plastic back also looks very cheap in the photo, but I’m hoping that’s not the case. Will this finally be the tablet that helps bring “real” tablet apps to Android, or will this 10-inch monster be forced to run scaled up phone apps like every other Android tablet?
