In a not so odd move, Motorola has decided to release the oft-rumored DROID HD or better known as its code name, Dinara, quietly in China. This isn’t the first time Motorola has decided to bring a big phone to a foreign country before the U.S., the DROID 3 was released in China first under the name Milestone 3.

The Dinara, pictured below, is quite the beast, with an impressive 720p display and a monster 13-megapixel camera, we know it will also support LTE and a dual-core processor, full specs are also below. Sadly, the Dinara doesn’t offer anything ground breaking in terms of styling or design. This device honestly looks like it takes a step back and follows design cues from the older DROID X2.

While we should expect a U.S. release, don’t look for it until after the ball drops in New York. An announcement at CES 2012 is likely to be the first we’ll hear about this device, officially.
