So after 25 years, Microsoft had decide that it’s not only looking to radically change its Windows desktop OS and Windows Phone OS, but have announced a new company logo as well. The new logo uses the “Segeo” font which Microsoft owns and uses for a variety of its Windows Phone and Window 8 products, with varying degrees of boldness and/or italics. The new logo does keep some similarities to the previous one as well as other previous Windows products, such as “f” and “t” at the remain connected, as well as the traditional blue, green, orange/yellow and red colors, however, while Microsoft has used the “windows” logo for decades, this is the first time that a Window logo will actually appear next to the actual company name.
