We knew that Microsoft was going to to divulge some secrets on Windows Phone 8 in June, but now we have date and place. It seems that the group from Redmond Washington will be packing their bags and heading south to sunny San Francisco on June 20th. The invite that Microsoft sent out is vague, but we’re able to at least extract some details, such as the event, which will be a Windows Phone developers summit and that the event itself will pertain to the “future” of Windows Phone, aka Windows Phone 8, codenamed Apollo.
In about 15 days, we’ll finally have some answers as to what the next version of Windows Phone will look like, what resolutions it’ll support (officially), new features, first party apps and much more. Be sure to check back at WP-Life.com, as we’ll be breaking down all the announcements from the day.
Here’s the official invite from MS.
