LG officially announced the Optimus G Pro for new markets

We reported back on the 7th of this month that after just announcing the 5-inch Optimus G Pro for Japan, LG was looking to bring a 5.5-inch G Pro to South Korea. LG has decided to take the new 5.5-inch monster to new territories outside of Korea and into Europe and other markets, sadly, no US release was mentioned—but we say give it time. Aside from the massive 5.5-inch full 1080p HD display, LG’s packing in a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and LTE.

As for the design, the G Pro looks like a love child of the HTC One X (the back) and the Samsung Galaxy S III (front). With MWC coming up in just a few weeks, we should get more details on this monster and hopefully it gets a nod towards the U.S.

I for one have to give LG credit, despite looking like some competitors phones, LG has made a gorgeous device and the back pattern is very Nexus 4-ish and should put LG on a whole new level.
