With Mobile World Congress only a few days away, most companies are keeping their announcements close to their chest, but not LG, they’ve already unveiled one phone and now they are doing another. This time they are showing off the Optimus 3D Max, the follow up with the Optimus 3D from last year.
This new 3D device using a more powerful processor, a 1.2GHz dual-core and a brighter 4.3-inch WVGA display. As for the back, we’ll see two, 5-megapixel camera (for 3D shooting), NFC and sadly, only 8GB of internal storage.
The Optimus 3D Max will also ship with Android 2.3, but LG says it will receive an update to Android 4.0 after its release. Speaking of release, the 3D Max will hit retail stores in Korea first in March, followed by a rollout in Europe and then presumably, the U.S.
We’ll definitely be hearing more on this new 3D device at MWC, so stay tuned. If you need more details, the official press release is below.
