As much as it pains me to post anything from BGR.com, in this case I feel like I’m forced to as they have photos to  back up their claim. According to a source who says they actually have an iPad 3 and from images they provided from a debug tool called iBoot, we can clearly see that the new iPad will again come in both a Wi-fi only and cellular based models (J1 and J2, or iPad 3,1 and 3,2, which are model numbers that DigiTimes reported on earlier). The cell based iPad 3 will support GSM/CDMA/LTE for all carriers (world radios), meaning we’ll see this on AT&T, Verizon and quite possibly Sprint as well as carrier over seas. The other fact these photos give us is that the new iPad will in fact use Apple’s rumored A6 quad-core processor. The source told BGR that it would be the fastest iOS device yet.

While none of this information is really shocking, as most of these have been rumored for a while,  we just now (assuming these images are legit) have proof. Sadly, the source of these images did not take or provide any images of the iPad 3′s rumored HD Retina display.

The pictures from BGR.com are below, believe if you will or doubt, the choice is yours. Since the device is rumored for an early March release, we should be expecting an Apple event in the next few weeks. In that case, we should also expect some invites to be showing up shortly as well.
