New images from French website, NoWhereElse.fr, show off what is suppose to be the new 9-pin dock connector for the new iPhone. As you can see from the image above (and below) the connector is very small, especially when compared to a stand USB plug. If you were to count the pins on the new connector, you’d only get eight, but according to Kyle Weins of iFixit (who told MacRumors) the metal frame of the connector actually counts as the ninth pin, as it’s the grounding pin.
The shape and size of the connector definitely lines up with the shape we’ve seen on the previous leaks of the new iPhone’s case.
