HP Board looking to fire CEO Leo Apotheker?

I guess not everyone is cut out to be a CEO. HP learned this the hard way, as they are looking to possibly fire their CEO, Leo Apotheker, who’s only been in the position for less than a year. Apotheker’s plan to kill off it’s PC business and focus on becoming an Enterprise company has apparently ruffled the feathers of the Board of Directors over at HP. I guess when your company’s stock drops by half ($42 to $22) you’re not doing to hot of a job. I’m not an investor or savvy with all that stuff, but even I can tell you I’d be a little pissed losing half my investment.

Bloomberg has even gone as far as to report on his replace. Apparently, Meg Whitman, eBay’s current CEO could be in line for the job. If I were Leo, I’d be putting that resume up on Monster.com ASAP!

Thank god!  He didn’t even do a great job at SAP, and his big plan was dismantle the  largest PC manufacturer in the world and go compete with IBM and Cisco with unproven software?  I’ll be buying some stock right now.  Also, please bring back WebOS.
