How to: Draw, Sketch and Color on the Samsung Galaxy Note II

After I posted our review of the Galaxy Note, I received some emails asking how I managed to do the Spider-Man and Robot drawings and which app I used. So I decided to throw together this video (29mins) showing how I created the drawings step-by-step using Autodesk’s SketchBook Mobile Express app (free on the Google Play Store). Update: Within the app, you can upgrade to the full version, with allows you to save your progress, export your finished piece in several formats, including a layered PSD (Photoshop file). The full version runs $1.99 and I personally feel that it’s worth every penny. Considering this app costs less than half of a cup of Starbucks coffee or a Big Mac from McDonalds, it’s a steal.

Below is the final version (one of two, the first image didn’t save, so I had to draw it again). Check out the video below to see how I put together this semi-quick sketch.
