HBO has updated its Android app to support devices running Android 4.1, aka Jelly Bean. With this update, HBO Go can also play on the Nexus 7 Tablet. On top of the new OS support, HBO also added some performance enhancements and bug fixes too.
While the update was issued earlier today, some users were confused when the line about Jelly Bean support was removed. However, as of 11:42pm, the line, “- Includes support for Jelly Bean” has been added back into the “What’s New” section of the Google Play store.
