Many customers we complaining because Google Wallet was not available on all Galaxy Nexus Devices, well now AT&T is allowing Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S owners to download Google Wallet from the Android Market. This is a generous offering from AT&T considering they don’t even offer the Galaxy Nexus. This could mean that they might offer it in the future, or realized many customers bought the Unlocked GSM version over seas and are using it on AT&T’s network.
For those of you who don’t know, Google Wallet is an application that allows the user to link up their Citi Mastercard, Google Prepaid Card (linked with your Google Account) or some Gift cards. The application uses the NFC chip built in to the device, micro SD card, battery, etc, to enable purchases using ‘PayWave’ located on credit card machines in some local stores. Here’s what it would look like.
So if you have a Galaxy Nexus or Galaxy S device on AT&T with NFC technology and wanted to try out Google wallet, Here’s your chance!
