For those of you who were unable to grab a Galaxy Nexus device before Google pulled them from the Play Store—due to the recent ban—you may not have to wait very long to get your hands on Google’s Pure Android device. According to a story at ABC News, Google has confirmed that while the Galaxy Nexus was removed due to recent litigation, it would recommence the selling of the Android flagship device as early as next week.
Google plans to update the Galaxy Nexus software from Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) to 4.1 (Jelly Bean), which they claim will remedy the items in the dispute that resulted in the ban. Keep your fingers crossed Android fans that Google and Samsung can submit these changes to the courts and gain approve to remove the ban.
