Google bumps up Gmail storage space from 7.5GB to a whopping 10GB, FREE!

Google just recently launched their cloud storage service, Google Drive, where they’ll be offering up 5GB of free storage, but that’s not all the Mountain View company had in store for today. They’ve also just bumped up Gmail’s storage size from an already impressive 7.5GB to a full 10GB, absolutely free.

If you’re like me, who honestly just forgets to delete emails, this is perfect, with 10GB of email space, you’re not going to have to trash an email anytime soon. 10GB is a pretty big milestone, when you consider that when Google launched Gmail back in 2004, they only offered 1GB, which back then was enormous. My how times have changed.

Anyway, the increase will be happening within 24 hours, so just be patient.
