Gameloft, makers of games like Asphalt racing, N.O.V.A 3 and Wild Blood, have just announced their sequel to the hit Modern Combat 3, appropriately called Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour which will launch on December 6th for iOS and “soon after” for Android. Gameloft is known for creating content rich games that rival that of consoles, with games like Wild Blood and N.O.V.A. both of which feature amazing visuals for a mobile device and an active online multiplayer ecosystem.

For those Android users out there, we’re not sure of the exact reason for Gameloft’s delay of MC4 for Android, as they didn’t give a reason, but one could only assume that it has to do with all the testing that must be done due to all the different processors and display resolutions from the various devices on the market. However, if the testing for MC4 is anything like that of N.O.V.A, then we should expect the Android release to follow iOS’s within a month.

Like MC4, there’s a traditional story line is intact, but MC4 will also feature some great multiplayer modes too like; Battle, Team Battle, Capture the Flag, Manhunt, Zone Control, VIP, Barebone and Warfare.
