  Cant believe its most likely on sprint. My prayers have been answered. I love my evo but the processor is bad and the battery sucks. I heard that the new nexus will have a tegra 3, is that true? And is there anyway to know ,since this is a prototype, if the battery life is going to be better than the the other smartphones?

  I imagine the larger form factor and removal of the space where the feedback for the buttons used to go would allow for more space to accommodate a larger battery, if Motorola slipped a 1930 mAh battery into an Atrix that’s as thin as the G2x, I’m sure that HTC can do the same.

  Thanks, thats my biggest concern for all these new superphones.  Battery life hasn’t been very promising for me.

  It looks interesting…. but how about one with an edge-to-edge display, no bezel? Apple will do it. I also find the previous Nexus 3 rumor to be more credible: “Nexus 3, by LG, with Tegra 3″.

  If there were no bezel, it would be too easy to tough the screen when gripping your phone. You’ll always have a but of your hand touching the screen.

  I’m holding my Atrix now, and my hands are nowhere encroaching over the top surface of the phone. PLUS it can be programmable to ignore such input. Also, it’s not a tablet. Finally, Apple is releasing an edge to edge iPhone this year.

  Michael Blake, how do you explain the line on the bottom edge of the thumb that clearly shows this picture is photoshop’d… view image > ctrl +++. It’s pretty clear. The only question, if you got this directly from your google employee friend is whether he or you did the editing.

  Amazing news. Can u find out about tegra 3 and the screen size. Rumors before this were 1280 x 720 display on a possible 4.5 inch screen. Tegra 3 would make this phone a must have.

  But, in case you can’t;
  – The screen on the device is lower resolution than the rest of the picture.
  – The thumb is crisp over the screen with no glare of the surroundings.
  – The shadow surrounding the device is equal all the way around the device with it casting on the top of the pinky even though it is over the device.

  In my view i don’t see the picture as fake…1) you can see that the thumb cast a shadow over the device on the upper left corner. 2) on the lower left corner where the device touches the palm close to the wrist, you can see that the pressure of the device on that part of the palm causes redness in the surounding lower area due to blood being pushed away from the pressure point of contact. 3) U can see the shadow on the table cast by the right lower part of the phone…consistent with the phone out line up to where it touches the pinky finger. 4) As for the resolution of the picture..kind of seem consistent, and it seems like a pic taken with a phone camera. I will go with  70-80% not fake.
