Feast your eyes on the new DROID X, whoops, my bad. The image above is actually the upcoming BlackBerry London or L-Series from Research in Motion. These new pictures come courtesy of Tinhte.vn, a site that is no stranger to posting leaked devices, well before their official reveal. The new “London” features a much larger display than those typically found on BlackBerry devices of the past. Thanks to some of the other pictures found on Tinhte.vn, we can confirm that the new BB10 device also features a 1,800mAh battery, a microSD card slot, a microUSB and an HDMI out port.
The new BB10 smartphone, with its removeable back certainly looks professional and “corporate,” but it’s hard to deny the fact that the front of the London looks just like Motorola’s DROID X, minus the physical buttons, something we pointed out a while back. At the time, we just hoped that RIM was mocking up a prototype, but it appears that this is indeed the final product.
Hey Google, you might want to get those lawyers out of bed and on the case, if Apple can do it, so can you.
