Update: We’ve made a small update to our contest, this won’t affect anyone who has already entered. TechHog.com had its biggest month in January since we launched over a year and half ago and to celebrate, we are doing our biggest contest yet. Terms and Conditions
The giveaway starts immediately and runs until February 18, 2012 at 12:00AM EST. It is open to residents of the countries specified in the detailed terms and conditions below. The winner will be selected randomly from the pool of entry’s, announced here and on twitter, and notified via email. 1 entry per person for each method is allowed, except for twitter (1 for Facebook and 1 for Twitter (per day). 1. Eligibility
TECHHOG.COM A MARYLAND BASED SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP (referred to herein as “Contest Provider”) IS THE PROVIDER OF THIS CONTEST. THIS CONTEST IS OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES, CANADA, MEXICO WHICH ARE: (i) OVER THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE ON THE DATE REFERENCED BELOW AS THE START DATE FOR THE CONTEST. If you are under the legal age of majority in your country of residence, but are (i) over the age of 13 years of age and a resident of the United States of America, Canada or Mexico one of your parents or legal guardians must submit a signed, written statement that they have read, understood and agree to these Contest rules with your entry, and that such agreement constitutes acceptance of these Contest rules on behalf of you and themselves. 3. Contest Period
The Contest begins February 18, 2012 at 12:00AM Eastern Standard Time and will continue until February 24th, 2012 at 9:00PM Eastern Standard Time (the “Deadline”). All entries must be received before the Deadline to be eligible to win a Prize.
4. Prizes
One (1) eligible entrant will be chosen by the Contest Provider as the “Winner,” and will receive the “Grand Prize,” one (1) Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 for T-Mobile, a $499 value. One (1) eligible entrant will be chosen by the Contest Provider as the “2nd Prize Winner” and will receive the “Second Prize,” one (1) Samsung Focus S (AT&T), a $399 value. One (1) eligible entrant will be chosen by the Contest Provider as the “3rd Prize Winner” and will receive the “Third Prize,” one (1) Samsung Exhibit II 4G (T-Mobile), a $299 value. One (1) eligible entrant will be chosen by the Contest Provider as the “4th Prize Winner” and will receive the “Fourth Prize,” one (1) Samsung Focus Flash (AT&T), a $199 value. No substitutions or exchanges, cash or otherwise, will be allowed. Prize is not transferable.
5. Collection of Information:
The Contest entry requires you to submit a first and last name, email address, twitter name and facebook username to meet the Contest’s Eligibility requirements. You are hereby informed that the data collector is TechHog.com and the data collected will be used solely for the prize giveaway, you are free to stop following us on Twitter and Facebook after the prize has been award. The Winner consents to allowing Contest Provider to disclose the following information to Prize Provider for the purpose of awarding the Prize: (1) first and last name and (2) email address. Failure to provide an email address as listed in the Eligibility section will result in disqualification from the Contest.
6. General Release of Liability
By entering the Contest, you release the Contest and Prize Provider from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest use of or inability to use the Prize. This is a contest and the winner will be picked at random.
