It seems that the only thing Apple can keep quite today—prior to announcing a new product—is the price and availability, basically because they can change those at the last minute. But, if a new rumors is true, and we all know they’ve been getting more accurate as of late, we could see the new entry level iPad Mini start at $329, $29 more than the brand new 4-inch iPod Touch and yet, $170 cheaper than the entry level iPad (3).
As for the other rumored models, a 32GB and 64GB version, expect those to follow the typical iPad pricing, by increasing by $100, so they’d be $429 and $529 respectively. It is also expected that Apple will introduce Cellular models to coincide with the release, and like the iPad, where the price jumps $130 more per model (i.e. $499 for 16GB Wifi and $529 for 16GB Wifi+4G), the iPad Mini’s cellular model will follow suit, with the entry level model starting at $459, which is still $60 cheaper than the WiFi only 16GB iPad (3).
Now all that remains is seeing the device on stage and waiting for the November 2nd release, assuming that rumor is true too, but I’m pretty certain that it’s a lock.
