So the The Loop (loopinsight.com) has gotten its invite to an Apple press conference on March 2nd. The invite shows an iOS “calendar” icon showing the 2nd and peeling away to show the corner of an iPad (can’t tell if it is a 1st gen or not).
The event will be held in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00 am. Apple has previously used this location for several product reveals.
Now, unlike “9to5Mac’s” tweet we are not going to fool you by saying the “LAUNCH” of the iPad 2, this is merely a press conference and if history shows us anything it’s that the first iPad and even the iPhone 4 were both shown off well before their respective launch dates. So don’t expect them to say “Shipping today.”
