Talk about waiting till the last minute, Apple spokesperson Tom Neumayr told The Loop, that Apple was delaying the launch of iTunes 11, because they want to get it just right. Below is the statement released to The Loop.

“The new iTunes is taking longer than expected and we wanted to take a little extra time to get it right. We look forward to releasing this new version of iTunes with its dramatically simpler and cleaner interface, and seamless integration with iCloud before the end of November.”

While it sucks to have to wait a little longer, hopefully the wait will be worth it and it’ll be bug free, unlike the launch of Maps. This is Eddy Cue’s project and he’s obviously not taking any chances for a screw up.
