The guys over at MacRumors have posted two very interesting shots of what are supposed to be front panels for the upcoming iPod Touch refresh. In the past, when Apple has refreshed their iPod Touch line, they typically follow the same display design as the iPhone. With reports sugguesting that the new iPhone will be sporting a 4-inch display (or a 3.95-inch, according to 9to5Mac), it only makes sense that the next iPod would also have a display of equal size.
The images below, from MacRumors, show a new, taller display for the iPod Touch, which has been measured at 4.1-inches. While the size is slightly larger than that which 9to5Mac claims, they are all in the same ballpark of 4-inches.
At this point, it’s pretty clear that the next iPhone/iPod Touch will have a larger display, be it 3.95″, 4″ or 4.1″ we don’t know yet, but with MacRumors offering up the first “visual” proof, as opposed to just a report of a 3.95-inch, I’m leaning towards the 4.1-inch. What do you all think?
